Oki introduces environmentally friendly LED printer

The switch separates C510dn C530dn and remain live. There are deep-sleep-and toner-saving mode. Both devices include a duplex unit and a network port at a price below 500 €.

Oki has introduced the most environmentally friendly by his own account dell latitude d600 battery LED Color Printer series. It consists of first two models, C510dn and C530dn. Both come standard with a duplex unit and network card, as the letters indicate the name.

Oki promises "a complete CO2-neutral production" and throttled warm-up and speed adjustment, which saves 20 percent electricity. There is also a toner-saving mode for 25 percent less toner and a deep-sleep mode at 1.1 watts. Further separates the network switch the unit off completely from the mains, so it takes up no more slight performance.

The resolution of the LED printer is 1200 x 600 dpi. They create both up to 26 pages per minute in black and up to 30 pages in full color. The difference lies in the integrated memory, the C510dn is of 64 MB (not expandable), but the C530dn 256 MB (up to 768 MByte). Moreover, dominated the C510dn only the Windows GDI printer language, the C530dn and PCL 6 and PostScript.

Both come with a paper tray for 250 sheets. A second tape is optional lenovo 3000 g530 battery.

The C510dn costs € 427.21 retail price, for the C530dn, you pay € 474.81. The delivery to the retailers has already begun. Oki provides a three year warranty with on-site service next business day as well as ten years in the imaging unit. The page prices are the manufacturer of 0.0196 euros per monochrome page and € 0.0975 on each page color.
