Dell is far from efficient Optiplex PC

Dell has introduced the OptiPlex 980, which it described as the most powerful and energy efficient desktop PC in its history. The company also announced the FX100 desktop virtualization solution.
The OptiPlex 980 delivers up to 35 percent more power than the previous generation of devices. Dell is built Intel Core series processors and i5 Core i7, instead of optional solid state hard drives. Contribute to the high efficiency power supplies at 90 percent efficiency.
The Optiplex 980 meets the standards of Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Gold. An optional "EcoKit" lowers the noise by an additional 50 percent.
The management of OptiPlex environments facilitate support of Intel's vPro. In addition, a management tool called Dell Dell Update Catalog available.
The calculator will be available in the coming weeks in three housing types: mini tower, desktop and small form factor.
Also for the same time announced Dell FX100 Zero Client, there are no prices. It can either be used as a virtual remote desktop or as a dedicated remote workstation - without their own processor or operating system.
